The Company

Established in 1972, The Mitolo Group has 50 years’ experience in growing, harvesting and packing potatoes and onions for Australia's supermarkets, market wholesalers and numerous export markets.

The Role
As an experienced Farm Hand/Tractor Driver your responsibilities will be to assist with all facets of ground preparation and inter row cultivation of high quality potatoes at our Virginia Farm.  The position offers a wide variety of tasks including basic mechanical, forklift driving, irrigation, harvesting and spraying.  The Virginia Farm Team is a small and successful team, and ideally you will have farm experience in a similar role. 

This position is being offered on a casual basis.  Seasonal requirements would be full time hours at other times 20-25 hours per week.

• experience in operating modern farm machinery including large scale tractors, harvesters and spray equipment, with preference given to those with harvesting and/or spraying experience
• good communication skills which will enable you to liaise with farm managers and harvest crews
• strong attention to detail and have passion and pride in the quality of your work
• basic understanding of large scale cropping.
