• Mitolo Family Farms now offers the perfect opportunity for highly motivated Team Leaders to join its rapidly growing and dedicated production team in Virginia. 

•  

• Reporting to the Shift Production Manager you will enjoy leading teams and creating a positive work culture, have a passion for food quality and production equipment and be inspired to drive continuous improvement initiatives.  

   

•  

• Your duties will include:

  • Lead, organize and co-ordinate the team to ensure customer orders are packed to specification and delivery requirements
  • Ensure packing lines are set up and staff allocations are managed effectively to ensure maximum productivity
  • Ensure team members comply with quality standards
  • Complete documentation for daily production requirements
  • Create an effective team of production personnel through supervision, mentoring, and on-the-job training
  • Ensure all organisational policies and procedures, and WHS requirements are consistently met
  • Monitor production equipment and efficiencies

   

•  

• The following skills and attributes will be highly regarded:

  • Experience in a production or food processing environment
  • Previous people management experience
  • Experience with packing lines
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to make timely decisions
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing practices.
