Mitolo Family Farms is now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding business and manage a variety of projects throughout the organization.

 

Reporting to the Development Manager you will enjoy leading projects and have experience managing projects within a Project Management framework and be inspired to drive continuous improvement initiatives.  You will be responsible for managing the scope of the projects including resources, budgets and communicating with involved parties.  Stakeholder engagement and regular visits to the project sites will ensure your success in the role.

 

Your duties will include:

  •  Leading and the facilitation of a variety of different projects and manage the project requirements.
  • Obtaining permits, creating risk management plans, setting up safety plans, creating the project schedule and tracking the activities against the time deliverables.
  • Monitoring quality of work against the design to identify any variances against design specifications.
  • Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management.
  • Adjusting the schedule and notifying relevant parties of any variances.
  • Ensure project is in line with budget requirements.
  • Arrange planning and building approvals as required.
  • Lodging appropriate paperwork and ensuring compliance statements are actioned and completed as part of the approval process.
  • Ensure all organisational policies and procedures, and WHS requirements are consistently met.

The following skills and attributes will be highly regarded:

  • 5 years' experience in a Project Management role.
  • Relevant industry experience and tertiary qualification or trade background.
  • Experience with Project Management software and Microsoft suite, including MS Project, Microsoft Teams, MS SharePoint, MS Power Apps, MS Power BI – would be beneficial but not necessary.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to make timely decisions.
  • Proficiency in liaising with and coordinating with different stakeholders in the day-to-day management of projects - with a focus on teamwork.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to confidently facilitate projects.
  • Well-developed knowledge and understanding of current Work Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
