The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in the Receivables Department. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our inbound logistics by unloading, inspecting, and organising incoming goods and materials. You will work closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure that all deliveries are received accurately, handled efficiently, and stored safely in accordance with company procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations
  • Handle the movement and placement of inbound and outbound consumables and produce within the facility
  • Perform regular stock rotation to ensure inventory accuracy and product integrity
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock movements, deliveries, and warehouse activities
  • Ensure the consumables warehouse is clean, organised, and well-maintained to support efficient operations
  • Assist with periodic stocktakes and inventory audits as required

What we are looking for

  • Valid forklift licence with demonstrated experience in safe operation
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in receiving or inventory control
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • Understanding of stock rotation principles and warehouse best practices
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory systems and record-keeping
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
